Movie Roundup: MISSION IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION

Four years have passed since the fourth M: epic, and there's more than enough time to prepare properly and something spectacularly stupid for the fifth installment of the franchise, Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. Because Abrams between the two in order to deal with the third film, after the first and second incoherent boring, everything has a reform, which means no more ironic humor, a little 'less cheese and an attempt to been to make the measures seems more authentic, so now the star Tom Cruise occasionally seen in real danger.

After an opening scene crazy, in the style of James Bond outings, has little to do with what is to follow and contains the image as Cruise plays hunting hanging from the side of a plane, we get into business as Alan Hunley CIA He wants to close the Impossible Mission Force to label them all terrorists. But Ethan Hunt to deal with terrorists in real time, and when it comes to rogue CIA after William Brandt and Benji Dunn.

Hunting somehow ends contact with Benji again after a series of lagoons credibility Whopper, and after hitting SETPIECE backstage at the Staatsoper in Vienna, we find look-you-can-trust-or-not? Fausto Ilsa, played by the unknown, but recent Rebecca Ferguson. It is part of the mysterious and murderous "The Syndicate"? She plans to kill Ethan, and perhaps Benji, Brandt and Luther Stickell Ving Rhames series regular for the case? Because Ethan did not end immediately, or he was worried there would not be much of a movie if you do not survive? And why initially impractical for a dress and heels as she knows he will definitely be around the streets of London and jumping from buildings to bear?

Written and directed this time by Christopher McQuarrie, who must rely Cruise after the beacon in Jack Reacher (and had a hand in writing and Edge of Tomorrow Valkyrie too), expected to crumble his last act, but always very, very funny -s, well aware Ethan Hunt is indestructible, untouchable and almost impossible unassailable. And, um, spoiler?

I do not know if you know this or not, but Tom Cruise is the most impressive of his uncle plane. Cruise did not know personally, I know this only because that's what all the plots of his films are about. This country is available in two variants. The first is direct: Tom Cruise is absolutely amazing! The second variant is a little 'less simple: People do not appreciate how wonderful it is Tom Cruise! Think about Jerry Maguire, where his girlfriend leaves him and he loses his job, just to show that even if it is just wonderful, we still think sorry for him, because the world is so unfair. The last attempt to Cruise interesting, insofar as there is nothing interesting Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation are confusing these two strains in a hybrid of something embarrassing.

It really does not fit so good to be treated like this guy, but the plot is good for viewers who believe the United States should put in the ass in the world, and that any restrictions due fascinating forces who want to undermine the good.

Unfortunately this combination, rather than the sum of its parts, showing slightly lower, as the two phases, which notes out of phase with each other, often combining more than compensate. The filmmaker can not spend half of the film shows us how great Cruise then expect the public to worry that the CIA could actually take it and run. Although the filmmakers take the second half of the film shows Cruise easily bypass all of the CIA, we can not expect any doubt that you have no problems defeating the villain of the day will have.

This is very unfortunate because one of the phase film probably built around the idea that hunting may finally have met its match, it would have been interesting if we had thought. Naturally, we do not know - the two-step approach makes it impossible to satisfy even believe it, and certainly do not help the brain hurts too blind to realize (or none), the obvious place double agent you use. But at the end of the day, none of this is really important, because only the message of the film is, even if hunting is your game, you still win because no one can match Cruise's genius!

Before I forget, I should mention that the mechanics of the plot is built around a MacGuffin that Hunt would deprive a facility with high security super-super. There is an explanation of what the MacGuffin, and he to services which makes a kind of sense of the film, at least; However, the MacGuffin actually shows something completely different from what we have said (that need this type of curves spy movies). This raises a question the film does not bother to deal with: the statement was false identify MacGuffin explains how he came to plant more meaningful?

I guess you could this just as an excuse, the data required for the plot exciting set pieces, one of which is to lay off a number. Unfortunately, the best to the front, with Cruise hanging over the edge of a plane taking off from the runway. It is a bold, can-you-top-this? moving, which exceeds the rest of the film; The coming battle scenes, scenes of suspense and chase scenes (including a rather nice on a motorbike), so good - but not so good.

With flaming genius Cruise in the film, not much room for anyone to shine. It's nice to see again Ving Rhames, but I've already forgotten what helped anyway. Jeremy Renner is consolidating its position as the top of the Hollywood heap, floating in the water waiting for producers who adhere to it in a sequel of Bourne-like. Rebecca Ferguson would be fine but it's only good - good enough to play a subordinate role, but not a threat to the star. Alec Baldwin manages to somehow make the CIA look damn fun, even for his change of heart is basically Skyfall Ralph Fiennes.

Despite my efforts, I found Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation reasonably deviation, and eventually managed to collect a fair share of stress, but why should I doubt advise Cruise genius, I do not know. Maybe my expectations were too high. His predecessor, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, provided some real emotions at one time seemed the danger real instead of pretending, and I expect more of the same - an expectation seemingly confirmed by the wildly enthusiastic response.

Sorry, Mission Impossible: stop rogue nation up looking a bit "like someone who says that pleasure instead of telling a joke. Harps film insists Cruise genius genius without achieving full self.
